When we write a check for $50, $100, or even $1,000 at times we may think, are we truly making a difference? Rest assured, you are making a difference. Despite the economy, the generous support of our donors enabled the Foundation to transfer $2.15M to the Medical Center to continue the excellent work of our Sisters, employees, physicians, and volunteers.
Because of YOU, the Medical Center was able to provide Palliative Care to ailing individuals and families, acquire new furniture for the entire Orthopedics nursing floor, and purchase vital equipment (cardiac monitors, baby scales, blanket warmer to name a few). We set in motion efforts to revitalize the historical Convent exterior. We provided $60,000 in nursing and respiratory scholarships to local students. Employees donated over $10,000 to help other employees through the fires or economic turmoil.
