$1.3 Million Raised for the New Center for Imaging Focused on Women
The new Center for Imaging focuses on Women’s Health & Wellness.The center replaced the existing equipment with Full Field Digital Mammography, Stereotactic breast biopsy services, 3-Dimensional ultrasound imaging and Bone Densitometry services to detect osteoporosis in women. The renovation has created a very warm and beautiful environment for patients. From new lighting, to new carpeting and furniture, the center sparkles. In addition, a blanket warmer has been added for the comfort of patients and music plays softly in the background. Congressman Joe Baca, the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians,The Inland Empire Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, Stater Bros. and Inland Women Fighting Cancer were generous donors to the project.
The Rezek Family Donates $1 Million
St. Bernardine Medical Center is proud to announce the renovation and reopening of the historic convent building. Eighty years after the original opening, the grand building was lovingly restored by Ron R. Rezek in honor of his parents and grandparents. The building was proudly re-commissioned as “The Rezek Centre at St. Bernardine” on October 10, 2010.
Legacy of Caring
Since its inception, our Legacy of Caring Society attracts new members each year, doubling from 17 members in 2007 to 39 today, all with a common purpose to leave a legacy with our hospital. During the last fiscal year (July to June), members contributed $450,000.
