This year’s gala will raise funds for a da Vinci Surgical System. The da Vinci robotic system provides for a less invasive surgical procedure that reduces a patient’s length of stay and a faster recovery for our patients. Robotic surgery has become established in the medical industry as an indispensable tool for hospitals with large surgical programs.
St. Bernardine Medical Center is a large acute care hospital with significant surgeries in heart, orthopedics, gynecology, urology and general surgery. Greater patient comfort and recovery is important to the physicians and medical center.
